Every year, the Freeport, IL Lions Club awards a $1,000 scholarship to one student in the Freeport-area community!
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Reside within the FSD145 boundaries
(Home school and private school students who live within these boundaries are strongly encouraged to apply.) - Graduate during the 2025–2026 school year
- Enroll FULL TIME at Highland Community College for the Fall 2026 semester (2026–2027 academic year)
- Have a minimum 2.0 (C) GPA
- Complete the Freeport, IL Lions Club Scholarship Application in its entirety
- Submit the completed application no later than March 20, 2026
